  4. Purpose of processing personal information

    The purpose of processing personal information is to distribute the Panostaja newsletter to parties who have subscribed to the newsletter. The information may also be used for other marketing, communications, opinion or market surveys by Panostaja and its co-operation partners, as well as planning and developing Panostaja’s business activities and services.

    Panostaja has the right to use external service providers in providing and executing its services. In such a case, personal information may be transferred to service providers insofar as it is necessary for the execution of the services.

    The register contains the following information:

    • the subscriber’s e-mail address
    • any other information necessary for the purpose of the register

    The register consists of information provided by the registered person.

  7. Regulatory information disclosure and transfer of information outside the EU or the EEA

    Panostaja will not disclose information in the register to external parties. However, information may be randomly disclosed in accordance with Finnish law.

    Any personal information will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

  8. Register protection principles

    Only persons whose work authorizes them to process the information in the register are authorized to use the system containing the information. Each user will have their own user ID and password for the system. The information will be collected into databases that are protected with firewalls, passwords and other technical means.

  9. Right of inspection and the right to have information corrected

    In accordance with the Personal Data Act, the registered person will have the right to verify his/her information entered into the register and the right to demand having any false information corrected, as well as the right to otherwise resort to rights secured by the Personal Data Act. Requests concerning the matter must be submitted in writing to the contact person mentioned in section 2.

  10. Other rights related to the processing of personal information

    The registered person can cancel his/her subscription to the newsletter at any time. In accordance with the Personal Data Act, the registered person will have the right to forbid the controller to use his/her information for direct marketing or marketing and opinion surveys. Such a prohibition may be submitted to the contact person mentioned in section 2 at any time.
